The Next Generation

In keeping with our approach of giving back in a practical way, we offer support and mentorship for career development in Fire Engineering, currently working in associated fields, or looking to move into a career in Fire Engineering, who do not have access to support currently.

​Our aim is to help develop the next generation experience a rewarding career in the Fire Engineering profession. We do this within our four-pillar framework:

  • Apply a principled approach​ to fire engineering. 

  • Develop practical wisdom (Phronesis) as opposed to the blind application of academic or generic solutions (Earned, Not Learned)

  • Recognise the importance of identifying solutions through critical thought and application of fire principles.

  • Wisdom in service of good ends - to encourage young professionals in Fire Engineering to replicate this model to help others.
